【Rust/rustup/multirust/rustc】uninstallしたい!「rustup cannot be installed alongside [Rust|multirust]. Please uninstall first」rustcが邪魔してrustupがinstallできない場合1つの方法

以前記事を書いたが、
なんかうまくいかなかった

このようなエラーが出る

error: it looks like you have an existing installation of Rust at:
error: /usr/local/bin
error: rustup should not be installed alongside Rust. Please uninstall your existing Rust first.
error: Otherwise you may have confusion unless you are careful with your PATH
error: If you are sure that you want both rustup and your already installed Rust
error: then please restart the installation and pass `-y' to bypass this check.
error: cannot install while Rust is installed

run

curl https://sh.rustup.rs -sSf | RUSTUP_INIT_SKIP_PATH_CHECK=yes sh

success!!

成功

comfirm

$ rustc --version

(not rust --version)

ok

確認

if you want to update for rustc,
run

rustup update
